A Man for All Seasons

A masterpiece of German director, Fred , is my favourite movie. Through Sir Thomas Moore's last years of life, we are faced with one of man's famous struggles in his life; scarifying himself to provide truth. On the other hand , the creatively chosen form of the movie that puts a long real time of an era into a short period of a movie, sets the movie in the first rank of my favourite movie list. This achieved largely because of the lighting of the main character in the shadow of other characters, hence avoiding the inclusion of separate scene. "A Man for All Seasons" sparks everyone's interests to be honest regardless of his/her historical or technical knowledge.
